DOES IT FIT? / SETUP NOTES
Steam Deck: the play-and-charge setup
One USB-C port. A display, an adapter, and the right power chain.
Both Steam Deck LCD and OLED can send video over USB-C. Connecting compatible glasses directly uses the Deck’s only USB-C port and powers the glasses from its battery. The original 45W USB-C PD power supply is included with the Deck, not with these glasses.
The simple connection
- Connect the display cable supplied with the glasses to the glasses and Deck.
- Wake the Deck and verify that the picture and audio appear. Use the product’s own instructions to adjust its display controls.
- Check the game’s external-display resolution and refresh setting. A glasses specification alone doesn’t guarantee the same refresh rate for the whole connection.
Keep power connected
For RayNeo Air 3s, this catalogue uses the RayNeo USB-C Charging Adapter. For XREAL One, it uses XREAL Hub. Connect the glasses to the display output, the Deck’s original USB-C PD charger to the charging input, and the adapter’s host connection to the Deck. Follow the adapter’s port markings, then confirm both video and the Deck’s charging indicator.
Know what the rating means
RayNeo advertises up to 100W and XREAL Hub up to 45W charging capability. Neither number promises the power your particular device will receive. The source supply, adapter and device negotiate the connection. RayNeo’s charging-route 1080p120 support is not verified here; XREAL advertises up to 120Hz passthrough.
These setups connect one host at a time. Move the connection between your Deck and supported phone; this is not a simultaneous two-device display.
