Each display or Thunderbolt peripheral consumes its chosen output. A data-only USB-C socket cannot drive a monitor. Shared bandwidth and actual charging depend on the host and connected devices.

Displays connected elsewhere use the same native display budget. No DisplayLink workaround is assumed. Other computer models and higher-resolution/high-refresh modes need separate evidence.

Know these limits.

Ordinary USB-C hosts and Thunderbolt 3 Windows PCs are unsupported.
Windows 10GbE requires the CalDigit driver; full USB/PCIe functionality needs a suitable host.
Thunderbolt4 or newer, Intel12th generation or newer, Thunderbolt NVM firmware43.3 or newer. The separate USB4 branch is also supported; do not turn Intel wording into an unsupported blanket AMD rejection.

Protected streaming needs a verified monitor/cable/adapter/service chain. A native dock alone does not guarantee HDCP playback.
